Have you met a couple that is so much fun that you can't stop laughing every time they're around? I did! It was Victoria and Gerald. It was one of the funniest-most fun engagement session I have ever photographed. And their story is so freaking cute! Victoria and Gerald met at a youth football leagues. He was a coach there and she was watching her little brother practiced. They were looking at each other for a few days and finally, Gerald made a move. He gave her his business card and said, "Call me." So, Victoria called and they had their first date the next day.
So, apparently, Gerald ordered a large blue slushy on their first date. And, Victoria thought," Who does that? He'd have blue lips." (This made me laughed so hard because they're so funny!) I didn't realize this detail 'till I'm writing this right now, but maybe that's the reason they wear blue for their engagement session? HAHA. Okay, let's be serious! They've been dating since that blue-slushy-date.
Their story didn't stop there. In June 2018, Gerald surprised Victoria with a super duper awesome birthday gift! He bought her a ticket to Rome along with nice camera for the trip! OH MY GOODNESS. (Justin, please take a hint right now.) She was so surprised and excited at the same time for the trip!
Oh the surprise was not over. On a Sunday evening, Gerald brought her close to The Colosseum and got down on one knee. He asked her to marry him! He said on their wedding website that he's been praying for this woman a year before they even met. And of course SHE SAID YES!!! (read: they got engaged!)
They're planning to get married in Punta Cana. HELLO. So, when we talked about a place for their engagement session, she wanted to do somewhere with water, but also classy and chic. That's why they decided on Downtown Roswell and Vickery Mill. Downtown Roswell has the perfect European charm for the stylish couple. The restaurants, lights, houses, flowers, and everything matches perfectly with their personality and outfit.
Not only downtown Roswell is chic, but it is also very close to Vickery Mill, where the waterfall is. They had a quick bite to energize before the session which was a really good idea!
It was a hot day for an engagement session in Downtown Roswell. So, here's another funny story. Our beautiful bride, Victoria, brought a mini fan-another great idea!-, but turned out the battery wasn't charged! Oh boy! We were too excited to get some cool air going that time in Downtown Roswell. That is why we were all so eager to jump in to the waterfall at Vickery Mill, Roswell.
